  • Misleading or deceptive business practices
Account & Behaviour Violations
  • Impersonation or identity misuse
  • Fake reviews or manipulated ratings
  • Unauthorized advertising or solicitation
  • Attempts to bypass platform rules
Safety & Legal Violations
  • Illegal products or services
  • Food safety violations
  • Data protection or privacy breaches
  • Any activity prohibited by law

3 How to Submit a Report

In-Platform Reporting

Most content includes a "Report" button. Select a reason and provide additional details directly on the page.

Email Reporting

Email support@recipesbible.com with:

  • URL or screenshot of the content
  • Description of the issue
  • Reason for the report
  • Any supporting evidence
Legal & Business Complaints

For copyright, trademark, defamation, or regulatory issues, submit a formal notice to legal@recipesbible.com.

4 What Happens After You Report

We acknowledge receipt of your report within 48 hours.

We check validity, urgency, and whether additional information is needed.

A trained moderation specialist reviews the content, context, and applicable rules.

Decision & Notification

Both parties are notified via email or in-platform alerts with the outcome and next steps.

5 Emergency or High-Risk Situations

RecipesBible may take immediate action without prior notice when content or behaviour poses:

  • A risk to public or food safety
  • A risk of fraud or financial harm
  • A legal or regulatory threat
  • A threat to another user's wellbeing

We may also cooperate with law enforcement where required.

6 Appeals Process

  • Content removal
  • Account suspension or termination
  • Listing or business restrictions
  • Marketplace or visibility penalties
How to Submit an Appeal

Appeals must be submitted within 14 days of the decision.

Email: appeals@recipesbible.com

Include:

  • Your account email
  • The decision you are appealing
  • Reasons for appeal
  • Any supporting evidence
Appeal Review & Possible Outcomes
  • Reviewed by a different moderator than the original reviewer
  • Response within 7–14 days
  • Upheld — original action remains
  • Modified — penalties adjusted
  • Reversed — content restored or account reinstated

All appeal decisions are final.

7 Repeated or Abusive Reporting
  • False, malicious, or abusive reports may result in warnings or account restrictions
  • Automated or bulk reporting intended to harass users is prohibited
  • Users must report in good faith
8 Transparency & Record Keeping

RecipesBible maintains internal logs of:

  • Reports submitted and actions taken
  • Appeal outcomes and moderator notes

We may publish anonymized transparency reports summarizing enforcement trends.

9 Data Protection & Privacy

All reports and appeals are handled in accordance with:

  • Our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy
  • GDPR and UK Data Protection Act
  • We do not disclose personal information except where legally required
