Cooking Method
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a muffin tray with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
- Fill cupcake liners halfway with batter, sprinkle a teaspoon of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then top with remaining batter. Swirl gently with a toothpick.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow cupcakes to cool before serving.
