Cooking Method
  •  In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, chai spice mix, and a pinch of salt.
  • In another bowl, combine milk, egg, maple syrup, and melted butter.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a thick batter forms.
  • Fold in finely chopped apples evenly throughout the batter.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  • Drop spoonfuls of batter carefully into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  • Remove fritters and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Drizzle warm fritters with maple glaze or extra maple syrup before serving.
