  • Add lemon juice and mix well to balance sweetness and help preservation.
  • Cook the mixture while stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
  • Continue cooking until the jam thickens and reaches a spreadable consistency.
  • Check doneness by placing a small drop on a cold plate โ€” it should not run.
  • Turn off the heat and allow the jam to cool slightly.
  • Transfer into sterilized glass jars and store refrigerated.
