Boil water:
Bring 3 cups of water to a gentle boil in a saucepan.
Brew the tea:
Add tea bags and let them steep for 3–4 minutes. Remove tea bags once brewed.
Prepare raspberry base:
Lightly mash fresh raspberries in a bowl to release their juice.
Infuse flavors:
Add mashed raspberries and basil leaves to the warm tea. Let it steep for 8–10 minutes so flavors blend well.
Sweeten the tea:
Stir in honey or sugar while the tea is still warm until dissolved.
Strain and cool:
Strain the tea to remove solids, then add lemon juice. Allow it to cool to room temperature.
Serve chilled:
Pour over ice cubes and garnish with fresh basil or raspberries before serving.
