Almond Milk Recipe | How to make Almond Milk
Almond Milk is a healthy, dairy-free plant-based milk made from soaked almonds and water. It is naturally creamy, nutritious, and rich in vitamins, making it a perfect alternative to regular milk. Almond milk is widely used in smoothies, coffee, desserts, breakfast cereals, and vegan recipes. Homemade almond milk is fresh, preservative-free, and easy to prepare.
Cooking Method
- Soak almonds in water for 8–10 hours or overnight.
- Drain and rinse the almonds properly.
- Peel the almond skins (optional but gives smoother milk).
- Add soaked almonds and 3–4 cups fresh water into a blender.
- Blend for 1–2 minutes until smooth and milky.
- Strain the mixture using a nut milk bag, muslin cloth, or fine sieve.
- Add dates/honey, vanilla, or cardamom for flavor and blend again if needed.
- Store in a glass bottle and refrigerate.
