Ginger Tea, or Adrak Chai, is a traditional Indian spiced tea known for its warming and soothing properties. Cooking Method
- Peel and finely slice or crush 1–2 inches of fresh ginger.
- In a saucepan, add 2 cups of water and the ginger. Bring it to a boil for 3–4 minutes.
- Add 2 tsp black tea leaves and simmer for 2–3 minutes until the tea infuses well.
- Pour in 1 cup milk and boil again for 2 minutes.
- Add sugar to taste and stir well.
- Strain the tea into cups and serve hot.
- Optionally, garnish with a pinch of cardamom powder for extra flavor.
