Authentic Che Chuoi Recipe | Vietnamese Banana Coconut Dessert

Che Chuoi is a traditional Vietnamese dessert made with ripe bananas cooked in a rich and creamy coconut milk sauce. This sweet and comforting dessert is popular in Vietnam and is often served warm or chilled depending on personal preference.

The dish combines soft ripe bananas with tapioca pearls and sweet coconut milk, creating a thick and creamy texture. The natural sweetness of the bananas blends perfectly with the rich coconut flavor, making the dessert both simple and delicious.

In Vietnam, Che Chuoi is commonly enjoyed as an afternoon dessert or a sweet treat after meals. It is often served at family gatherings, street food stalls, and small dessert shops. The dish is also popular because it uses simple ingredients that are easy to find.

One of the unique characteristics of Che Chuoi is its comforting texture. The bananas become soft and tender when cooked, while the tapioca pearls add a slightly chewy texture. The coconut milk sauce brings everything together with a creamy and fragrant finish.

Preparing Che Chuoi at home is quite easy and requires only a few ingredients. Once the bananas and tapioca pearls are cooked in coconut milk, the dessert can be served with toasted sesame seeds or roasted peanuts for extra flavor.

This traditional Vietnamese dessert offers a wonderful combination of sweet bananas and creamy coconut milk, making it a perfect treat for anyone who enjoys tropical flavors.
