Cooking Method
- Mash beans: In a large bowl, mash black beans until mostly smooth, leaving some chunks for texture.
- Mix ingredients: Add chopped roasted red pepper, breadcrumbs, dairy-free cheese, onion, smoked paprika, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Form patties: Shape the mixture into 4–6 burger patties.
- Cook burgers: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
- Assemble: Serve burgers on buns with lettuce, tomato, vegan mayo, or any preferred toppings.
