In a cooking pot, bring the chicken stock or water to a gentle boil.

Add the shredded chicken, minced garlic, and ginger to the pot.

Stir in the sweet corn and cook for about 5 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix the cornflour with a little water to make a smooth slurry.

Slowly add the cornflour mixture to the soup while stirring continuously to thicken the broth.

Lightly beat the eggs in a bowl.

Slowly pour the beaten eggs into the soup while stirring gently to create silky egg strands.

Add soy sauce, salt, and white pepper to enhance the flavor.

Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the soup reaches the desired thickness.

Garnish with chopped spring onions before serving.
