Cooking Method
In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and salt.

Cover the dough and let it rest for about 15–20 minutes.
Divide the dough into small equal-sized balls.
Lightly dust each ball with flour and roll it into a thin round shape using a rolling pin.
Heat a flat pan or tawa over medium heat.
Place the rolled ruti onto the hot pan and cook for about 30–40 seconds.
Flip the ruti and cook the other side until light brown spots appear and the bread slightly puffs.
Remove from the pan and brush lightly with oil or ghee if desired.
Serve the warm ruti with your favorite curry or side dish.
