Tibs is a popular and flavorful Ethiopian dish made with tender beef cubes sautéed with onions, peppers, garlic, and aromatic spices. Cooking Method


  1.  Heat the niter kibbeh or butter in a large skillet. 
  2.  Add the onions and cook until softened. 
  3.  Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute. 
  4.  Add the beef cubes and sauté until browned. 
  5.  Sprinkle with berbere spice, salt, and black pepper. 
  6.  Add the tomatoes and bell peppers. 
  7.  Cook until the vegetables are tender and the beef reaches the desired doneness. 
  8.  Stir well to combine all flavors. 
  9.  Remove from heat and serve hot. 
  10.  Enjoy with injera or your preferred side dish.
