Lemon Loaf Cake
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, and eggs until smooth.
Add the milk, lemon zest, and fresh lemon juice, then mix well.
Stir in the flour and baking powder until just combined. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely. Drizzle with a simple lemon glaze before serving if desired.
