Cooking Method


  1.  Preheat oven to 190°C. 
  2.  In a bowl, mix pears, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch. 
  3.  Place one pie crust in a baking dish. 
  4.  Add the pear filling evenly. 
  5.  Dot with butter. 
  6.  Cover with top crust or lattice. 
  7.  Seal edges and make small cuts. 
  8.  Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly. 
  9.  Let cool before serving.
