Cooking Method


  1.  Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish. 
  2.  Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. 
  3.  In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and olive oil. 
  4.  Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking tray. 
  5.  Brush the maple glaze generously over each fillet, reserving a small amount for later. 
  6.  Bake for 12–15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon. 
  7.  During the last 3 minutes of baking, brush the fillets with the remaining glaze. 
  8.  For extra caramelization, broil the salmon for 1–2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning. 
  9.  Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for 2 minutes. 
  10.  Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with fresh lemon wedges.
