Cooking Method


  1.  Cook the purple sticky rice according to the package instructions until tender. Allow it to cool completely. 
  2.  Brew the black tea by steeping the tea bags in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool. 
  3.  In a pitcher, combine the cooled tea, whole milk, Greek yogurt, and sweetened condensed milk. Whisk or blend until smooth and creamy. 
  4.  Drizzle the brown sugar syrup around the inside of two serving glasses for a layered effect. 
  5.  Add the cooked purple sticky rice to the bottom of each glass. 
  6.  Fill the glasses with ice cubes. 
  7.  Pour the milk tea mixture over the rice and ice. 
  8.  Top each drink with a spoonful of Greek yogurt and a sprinkle of additional purple sticky rice. 
  9.  Drizzle with honey if desired and garnish with fresh mint leaves. 
  10.  Serve immediately with a wide bubble tea straw and a spoon for the rice.
