Cooking Method


  1.  Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. 
  2.  Add the onions and sauté until softened. 
  3.  Stir in the garlic, ginger, and chili peppers. 
  4.  Add the tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes until slightly thickened. 
  5.  Pour in the water or fish stock and bring to a simmer. 
  6.  Season with salt and black pepper. 
  7.  Carefully add the fish to the pot. 
  8.  Simmer gently for 20–25 minutes until the fish is fully cooked. 
  9.  Adjust seasoning if needed. 
  10.  Garnish with parsley or cilantro and serve hot.
