Pizza Dough
Pizza dough is a soft, elastic dough used as the base for making delicious homemade pizzas. It is prepared using flour, yeast, water, and oil, then left to rise to develop a light and airy texture. Once baked, it becomes crispy on the outside and soft inside—perfect for all types of pizza toppings.
Cooking Method
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, add flour and salt.
- Pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let the dough rise for 1–2 hours until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and divide if needed.
- Roll out, add toppings, and bake at high temperature (220–250°C) until golden.
