Strawberry Iced Tea | Sweet, Fruity and Refreshing Homemade Summer Tea Recipe
Strawberry Iced Tea is a refreshing homemade beverage that combines the bold flavor of freshly brewed black tea with the natural sweetness of ripe strawberries. This vibrant summer drink is perfect for picnics, backyard gatherings, afternoon refreshments, or simply cooling down on a warm day.
Fresh strawberries are simmered into a flavorful syrup that infuses the tea with a naturally sweet, fruity taste and a beautiful ruby-red color. The rich black tea provides a smooth, slightly bold base that perfectly complements the bright strawberry flavor.
A splash of fresh lemon juice enhances the sweetness of the berries while adding a crisp citrus finish. Served over ice and garnished with fresh strawberries and mint leaves, this iced tea is as attractive as it is delicious.
Easy to prepare with simple ingredients, Strawberry Iced Tea is a healthier alternative to bottled drinks and can be enjoyed throughout the year using either fresh or frozen strawberries.
Cooking Method
- In a saucepan, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Simmer over medium heat for 8–10 minutes until the strawberries soften and release their juices.
