Healthy Banana Pancakes (No Sugar) Recipe | Naturally Sweet & Fluffy Breakfast

Healthy Banana Pancakes (No Sugar) are naturally sweet, soft, and fluffy pancakes made with ripe bananas instead of refined sugar. These wholesome pancakes are perfect for a healthy breakfast or brunch and are ideal for both kids and adults. The natural sweetness of ripe bananas eliminates the need for added sugar while providing extra fiber, potassium, and essential nutrients.

Made with simple ingredients like bananas, eggs, flour, baking powder, milk, and vanilla, these pancakes are light, tender, and satisfying. They cook to a beautiful golden brown and pair wonderfully with fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, nut butter, or a drizzle of pure maple syrup if desired. Easy to prepare in under 20 minutes, these naturally sweet banana pancakes are a nutritious way to start your day.

Cooking Method

  1. Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Add the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter, then whisk until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Heat a lightly greased non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  7. Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto the hot skillet for each pancake.
  8. Cook for 2–3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface and the edges begin to set.
  9. Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until both sides are golden brown and the pancakes are cooked through.
  10. Serve warm with fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, or your favorite healthy toppings.
