Cooking Method


  1.  Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water and let sit for 5–10 minutes. 
  2.  In a bowl, mix flour and salt. 
  3.  Add yeast mixture and oil/butter. Knead into a soft dough. 
  4.  Incorporate chopped scallions evenly into the dough. 
  5.  Cover and let rise for 1–2 hours until doubled. 
  6.  Shape into a loaf or rolls and place on a greased baking tray. 
  7.  Let rise for another 30–40 minutes. 
  8.  Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). 
  9.  Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown. 
  10.  Brush with butter and serve warm.
