Cooking Method


  1.  Heat oil or ghee in a large pot. 
  2.  Sauté onions until golden brown. 
  3.  Add garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant. 
  4.  Add lamb pieces and cook until browned. 
  5.  Stir in tomato puree and yogurt. 
  6.  Add Kashmiri chili powder, cumin, coriander, garam masala, cinnamon, and salt. 
  7.  Mix well and cook for a few minutes. 
  8.  Add water as needed and cover the pot. 
  9.  Simmer on low heat for 60–75 minutes until the lamb is tender. 
  10.  Garnish with fresh coriander. 
  11.  Serve hot with rice or naan.
