Cooking Method
Step 1: Fry the Bread
Cut bread slices into triangles and fry them in ghee or oil until golden and crispy. Set aside on paper towels.
Step 2: Prepare Sugar Syrup
In a pan, add sugar with ½ cup water and cook until slightly sticky. Add a pinch of cardamom powder for flavor.
Step 3: Soak Bread
Dip the fried bread pieces quickly into the warm sugar syrup and arrange them in a serving dish.
Step 4: Prepare Rabri
In another pan, boil milk and cook on low heat until it reduces and thickens. Stir occasionally to avoid burning.
Step 5: Add Cream & Flavor
Add fresh cream and remaining cardamom powder into the milk. Mix well to get a rich, creamy rabri.
Step 6: Assemble Dessert
Pour the prepared rabri over the soaked bread pieces evenly.
Step 7: Garnish & Serve
Top with chopped almonds and pistachios. Serve warm or chilled as desired.
