Cooking Method
- Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika, then lightly dust with flour. Shake off any excess flour.
- Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the fish fillets and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the broth and simmer for 2 minutes, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and stir well.
- Return the fish fillets to the skillet and spoon the creamy garlic sauce over them. Simmer for 2 minutes to warm through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley, extra Parmesan cheese, and lemon wedges.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables.
