Cooking Method


  1. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika, then lightly dust with flour. Shake off any excess flour.
  2. Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the fish fillets and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
  4. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the broth and simmer for 2 minutes, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Add the fresh lemon juice and stir well.
  8. Return the fish fillets to the skillet and spoon the creamy garlic sauce over them. Simmer for 2 minutes to warm through.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley, extra Parmesan cheese, and lemon wedges.
  10. Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables.
