Cooking Method


  1.  Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. 
  2.  Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown. 
  3.  Add garlic and ginger paste, then sauté until fragrant. 
  4.  Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft. 
  5.  Add turmeric, chili powder, cumin, coriander, and garam masala. 
  6.  Cook the spices until oil separates. 
  7.  Add venison and mix well with the masala. 
  8.  Add yogurt if using and stir. 
  9.  Pour in water and bring to a boil. 
  10.  Reduce heat and simmer for 45–60 minutes until meat is tender. 
  11.  Adjust seasoning and garnish with cilantro. 
  12.  Serve hot.
