Cooking Method


  1. Wash and finely dice the tomatoes, cucumber, bell peppers, and onion into small, even pieces.
  2. Place all the chopped vegetables in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the chopped parsley and fresh mint, if using.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss gently until evenly coated.
  6. If desired, fold in the tuna for added protein.
  7. Arrange the salad on a serving platter or divide it among individual bowls.
  8. Garnish with sliced hard-boiled eggs, black olives, and capers if using.
  9. Chill for 10–15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
