Cooking Method
Carefully soften the cabbage leaves in boiling water and separate them.
In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, cooked rice, onion, garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Place a portion of the filling onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly, folding in the sides.
Spread half of the sauerkraut in the bottom of a large pot.
Arrange the cabbage rolls on top, then cover with the remaining sauerkraut.
Add the tomato sauce, broth, and bay leaves.
Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low.
Cover and simmer for 2 hours, or until the cabbage is tender and the filling is fully cooked.
Remove the bay leaves before serving.
Garnish with sour cream and fresh parsley, and serve hot with crusty bread.
