Soft puff pastry is layered with hazelnut spread or crushed hazelnuts mixed with sugar and butter, then twisted into attractive spirals before baking until golden brown and crisp. The pastry develops flaky layers with a sweet nutty aroma and crunchy texture that pairs perfectly with coffee or tea.
Hazelnut Twist Pastry is easy to prepare and tastes best served warm. It can be dusted with powdered sugar or drizzled with chocolate for an extra bakery-style finish and indulgent flavor.
