Cooking Method


  1.  Preheat oven to 190°C. 
  2.  In a bowl, mix currants, sugar, butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg. 
  3.  Roll out puff pastry and cut into circles. 
  4.  Place filling in the center of each piece. 
  5.  Fold and seal the edges. 
  6.  Turn over and lightly flatten. 
  7.  Make small cuts on top. 
  8.  Brush with egg wash. 
  9.  Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden. 
  10.  Let cool slightly and serve.
