Biltong is a traditional South African dried meat snack made by curing strips of beef or game meat with vinegar, salt, and spices before air-drying them. It has a rich, savory flavor with a slightly tangy taste and is popular as a high-protein snack across South Africa. 

Cooking Method

 

Cut beef into long strips. 

 Marinate the meat with vinegar, salt, coriander, and black pepper. 

 Let it cure for several hours or overnight. 

 Hang the meat in a cool, dry, ventilated area. 

 Air-dry for 4–7 days until firm and ready to eat. 

 Slice thinly and serve as a snack.
