Cooking Method


  1. Pat dry the catfish fillets using paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, salt, thyme, and oregano.
  3. Coat each fish fillet evenly with the spice mixture.
  4. Heat butter or oil in a heavy pan over high heat.
  5. Place the seasoned fish in the hot pan carefully.
  6. Cook for about 3–4 minutes on each side.
  7. The outside should become dark and crispy while the inside stays tender.
  8. Remove from the pan and let it rest for a minute.
