Cooking Method


  1.  Wash the lemons thoroughly. 
  2.  Thinly slice the lemons and remove all seeds. 
  3.  Place lemon slices and water in a large saucepan. 
  4.  Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the peel becomes tender. 
  5.  Add sugar and stir until completely dissolved. 
  6.  Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens into a jam-like consistency. 
  7.  Test the jam on a chilled plate to check thickness. 
  8.  Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. 
  9.  Pour into sterilized jars and seal properly. 
  10.  Let cool completely before storing.
