Heat ghee in a pan and add gram flour (besan).
Roast the besan on low flame until it turns golden and releases a nutty aroma.
Add a little milk (optional) to enhance texture and cook for a few minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
Add powdered sugar and mix well.
Add cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits.
Take small portions and shape them into round balls (laddus).
Allow them to set and store in an airtight container.
