Cooking Method

  1.  In a small bowl, combine the warm milk, yeast, and 1 teaspoon of the sugar. Let it stand for 5–10 minutes until foamy. 
  2.  In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the bread flour, remaining sugar, and salt. 
  3.  Add the yeast mixture and eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix until a rough dough forms. 
  4.  Knead the dough for about 8 minutes until smooth. 
  5.  Gradually add the softened butter, a few cubes at a time, kneading well after each addition until fully incorporated. 
  6.  Continue kneading for 10–15 minutes until the dough is silky, smooth, and elastic. 
  7.  Transfer the dough to a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1½–2 hours, or until doubled in size. 
  8.  Gently deflate the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for easier handling. 
  9.  Shape the dough into a loaf, rolls, or buns and place in prepared baking pans. 
  10.  Cover and let rise for 45–60 minutes until puffy. 
  11.  Brush with the egg wash. 
  12.  Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25–35 minutes, depending on the size of the loaf or rolls, until golden brown and fully baked. 
  13.  Cool on a wire rack before serving.
