In a bowl, add whole wheat flour and a pinch of salt.
Gradually add water and knead into a soft, smooth dough.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into small equal portions and roll them into balls.
Flatten each ball using a rolling pin into thin circular discs.
Heat a tawa (flat pan) and place the rolled roti on it.
Cook until bubbles form, flip, and cook the other side until light brown spots appear.
Optionally apply a little ghee or butter and serve hot.
