Cooking Method
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, brown sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
- Add the beef and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add the remaining oil to the pan.
- Stir-fry the onion, garlic, and ginger for 1 minute.
- Add the bell peppers, broccoli, and carrot, cooking for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Return the beef to the pan.
- Pour in the prepared sauce and stir well until it thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.
- Cook for another 2 minutes.
