  1.  In a small bowl, combine the warm water, warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it stand for 5–10 minutes until foamy. 
  2.  In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. 
  3.  Pour the yeast mixture and melted butter into the flour. 
  4.  Mix until a soft dough forms. 
  5.  Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic. 
  6.  Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and turn it to coat all sides. 
  7.  Cover with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for 1–1½ hours, or until doubled in size. 
  8.  Punch down the dough to release the air. 
  9.  Shape it into a loaf, rolls, or your preferred bread style. 
  10.  Place the shaped dough into a greased baking pan or baking tray. 
  11.  Cover and let it rise again for 30–45 minutes. 
  12.  Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped. 
  13.  Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack before slicing.
