Heat butter or oil in a pan.
Add chopped onions and sauté until soft.
Add garlic and ginger; cook until aromatic.
Add mixed vegetables and sauté for a few minutes.
Add salt and black pepper; mix well.
Pour in water and bring to a boil.
Cover and cook until vegetables are tender.
Blend partially or fully depending on desired texture.
Simmer for a few minutes and adjust seasoning.
