Raising Cane’s Style Chicken Tenders are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and made with tender chicken strips coated in a perfectly seasoned batter. Marinated in buttermilk for extra tenderness and fried until golden brown, these homemade chicken tenders are ideal for serving with fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and your favorite dipping sauce.
Slice chicken breasts into tender-sized strips and marinate them in buttermilk with salt and black pepper for at least 2 hours.
In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt.
Remove the chicken strips from the marinade and coat them evenly in the seasoned flour.
Dip the coated strips back into the buttermilk, then coat again with the flour mixture for an extra crispy crust.
Heat oil to 175°C (350°F) and fry the chicken tenders in batches until golden brown and cooked through.
Drain on a wire rack or paper towels to keep the coating crisp.
Serve hot with fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and your favorite dipping sauce.
