Fresh apricots are gently cooked with sugar until soft and thickened into a smooth, rich jam. A touch of lemon juice enhances the fruit's natural flavor while helping the jam achieve the perfect consistency. The result is a bright, aromatic preserve with a delightful balance of sweetness and tanginess. 

Apricot Jam is easy to make and ideal for breakfast, baking, dessert toppings, or gifting in decorative jars. 

Cooking Method


  1.  Place chopped apricots in a large saucepan. 
  2.  Add sugar and lemon juice. 
  3.  Stir well and let stand for 10–15 minutes. 
  4.  Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally. 
  5.  Bring the mixture to a gentle boil. 
  6.  Continue cooking until the apricots soften and the jam thickens. 
  7.  Mash the fruit lightly if a smoother texture is desired. 
  8.  Test the consistency on a chilled plate. 
  9.  Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. 
  10.  Transfer to sterilized jars and seal properly.
