Mushroom Gravy (Variation) Recipe
Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5–6 minutes until browned and tender.
Stir in the minced garlic and thyme, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and stir for 1–2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in the broth until the mixture is smooth.
Season with salt and black pepper, then simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened.
Serve hot over mashed potatoes, grilled chicken, steak, pasta, biscuits, or roasted vegetables.
