Ka Meetha
Ka Meetha is a traditional Hyderabadi dessert made from bread slices fried until golden and soaked in fragrant sugar syrup. Cooking Method
- Trim the edges of the bread slices and cut each slice into triangles.
- Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the bread slices until they become golden brown and crispy. Set them aside.
- In another pan, combine sugar and water to prepare a one-string consistency sugar syrup.
- Add the cardamom powder to the syrup and stir well.
- Dip each fried bread slice into the warm sugar syrup for a few seconds, then arrange them on a serving dish.
- Pour warm milk or rabri evenly over the soaked bread slices.
- Garnish generously with chopped almonds and pistachios.
- Serve warm or chilled as a delicious Hyderabadi dessert.
