Cooking Method
In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
Add the warm water and vegetable oil.
Mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl.
Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and divide it into 10–12 equal portions.
Shape each portion into a smooth ball.
Cover and let the dough balls rest for 15–20 minutes.
Heat oil in a deep pot to 175°C (350°F).
Fry the dough balls in batches until golden brown on both sides.
