 Basil Pesto is a classic Italian sauce made with fresh basil leaves, nuts, garlic, cheese, and olive oil. It has a fresh, rich, and aromatic flavor with a creamy texture, making it perfect for pasta, sandwiches, salads, grilled vegetables, and as a dip. 

Cooking Method

 

Wash and dry fresh basil leaves. 

 Add basil, garlic, pine nuts, and Parmesan cheese to a food processor. 

 Blend while slowly adding olive oil until the mixture becomes smooth. 

 Add salt and black pepper according to taste. 

 Mix well and adjust consistency with extra olive oil if needed. 

 Serve fresh or store in the refrigerator for later use.
