Chinese Almond Cookies

Cooking Method
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine all-purpose flour, almond flour, and baking powder.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture to form a soft dough.
- Roll the dough into small balls, place them on the baking tray, and press a whole almond on top of each cookie.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the cookies turn lightly golden. Let them cool before serving.
