 Pizza Capricciosa is a beloved classic from Italy, known for its rich combination of savory toppings and authentic Italian flavors. This traditional pizza features a crisp yet chewy homemade crust topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, cooked ham, mushrooms, marinated artichokes, black olives, and a sprinkle of oregano. Cooking Method


  1.  Combine the flour, yeast, salt, warm water, and olive oil to form a smooth dough. Knead for 8–10 minutes and let it rise for 1 hour. 
  2.  Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone or baking tray inside if available. 
  3.  Roll the dough into a 12-inch circle and place it on a pizza peel or baking tray. 
  4.  Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough. 
  5.  Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce. 
  6.  Arrange the ham, mushrooms, artichokes, and black olives evenly on top. 
  7.  Sprinkle with dried oregano and drizzle with olive oil. 
  8.  Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling. 
  9.  Remove from the oven, let cool for 2–3 minutes, slice, and serve warm.
