Step 1: Prepare Dough
- Mix flour with a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp oil.
- Add water gradually and knead into a smooth dough.
- Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Step 2: Prepare Prawn Filling
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until light golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until fragrant.
- Add chopped prawns and cook on medium heat.
- Add green chilies, garam masala, and salt.
- Cook until prawns are done and mixture becomes slightly dry.
- Let it cool completely.
Step 3: Shape Singara
- Divide dough into small balls and roll into thin circles.
- Cut into halves and form cone shapes.
- Fill with prawn mixture and seal edges with water.
Step 4: Fry Singara
- Heat oil on medium-low flame.
- Deep fry until crispy and golden brown.
Step 5: Serve
- Serve hot with mint chutney, tamarind chutney, or spicy sauce.
