Heat oil:
Warm olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Sauté aromatics:
Add chopped onion and cook until soft, then add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes.
Add farro:
Stir in the rinsed farro and cook for a minute to enhance its nutty flavor.
Add liquid:
Pour in vegetable broth or water and bring to a boil.
Simmer:
Reduce heat and cook for 20–25 minutes until farro is tender.
Add beans:
Stir in cooked beans and cook for another 5–10 minutes.
