Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Crisps are a quick and crunchy sweet snack made by baking or frying tortilla pieces coated in a buttery cinnamon-sugar mixture. These golden, crispy bites are perfect for dessert platters, tea-time snacks, or pairing with dips like chocolate sauce or fruit salsa.
Cooking Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) or heat oil if frying.
- Cut tortillas into triangle or wedge shapes.
- Brush both sides lightly with melted butter.
- In a bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the tortilla pieces.
- Arrange on a baking tray and bake for 8–10 minutes until crisp and golden (or fry until crispy).
- Remove, drizzle with a little honey and vanilla if desired.
- Let them cool completely to become extra crunchy, then serve.
