Pieces of bread are soaked in a creamy mixture of milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla, then baked until golden and soft inside. Raisins, cinnamon, nuts, or caramel sauce can be added for extra flavor and texture. The result is a warm and satisfying dessert with a soft pudding texture and lightly crisp top.
